As with many issues, there is not just one right or wrong answer to these concerns. Sometimes, in the safe environment of a counseling office, family members may feel more relaxed. Then the therapist can help define the concerns more clearly, make sure every person is heard and understood, and can help spark new solutions that may not have been thought of before.
